Feature #416
openFunctional Feature : Headset Contact Not Monitored During Active Sessions
0%
Description
The headset connection is validated only at the start of a therapy or assessment session. Once the session begins, the headset can be removed from the user's head and placed on a table, yet the session continues and metrics are still displayed as if valid data is being received. This may lead to inaccurate measurements, false-positive results, and reduced confidence in the reported metrics.

Suggested Solution:
Implement continuous sensor contact and signal-quality monitoring throughout the session, also an alert must be triggered immediately on disconnection so the user, therapist, or admin can act. A live EEG monitoring feature should be available during active sessions for real-time observation and supervision.

The headset connection is validated only at the start of a session. After therapy or assessment begins, the session can continue even if the headset is removed and placed on a table, while metrics continue to be displayed. Consider continuously monitoring sensor contact and pausing or warning users when valid contact is lost.
