Description

The application blocks users from connecting their EEG headset via Bluetooth unless they explicitly turn on their smartphone's global GPS location services.

User Impact: Causes privacy-conscious users to reject the permission, rendering the hardware connection completely unusable.
Solution: Update the app's permission manifest to utilize modern, location-isolated Bluetooth scanning APIs (such as BLUETOOTH_SCAN on Android 12+ or CoreBluetooth on iOS) that bypass geographic location tracking.
